As of January 1, 2015, horses registered with the PRE Stud Book after the established deadline will have to pay an additional fee.

According to the current legislation, all foals must be registered with the Stud Book before the following deadlines: 

 

• Foals born between January and June must be registered before December 31 of the year born. 

• Foals born between July and December must be registered before they are six (6) months of age. 

 

To avoid the many problems due to past-deadline registrations, it has been decided that as of January 1, 2015, when registering a post-deadline horse with the PRE ANCCE STUD BOOK, the fee will be three hundred euros (€300) per horse.  We highly recommend that all breeders register their foals well before the deadlines established above.
