ANCCE has renewed the PRE Stud Book Quality Management Certificate according to UNE-EN ISO 9001:2008 standards

ANCCE, the National PRE Breeders’ Association of Spain, by means of the annual audit carried out since 2010, has renewed the PRE Stud Book Quality Management Certificate according to UNE-EN ISO 9001:2008 standards.

The inspection undertaken by AENOR during the first week of March verified the degree of satisfaction and compliance with the integrated quality management systems used, to recognize the improvements in the current management tools, the systems established to verify the various administrative processes and the high level of satisfaction expressed by breeders through the survey.

This new certification is valid for three years, with interim follow-up reviews each year.  This achievement is possible thanks to the daily efforts and commitments with quality and the continual improvement that ANCCE has systematically maintained to the benefit of improved efficiency and services provided to breeders of Purebred Spanish Horses the world over.

Since ANCCE took over the PRE Stud Book in 2007—entrusted by the government of Spain as the maximum representative of the breed—the indexes for quality, efficiency and reliability have increased, which has earned the Stud Book international recognition to currently be considered a reference model for other equine breeds.
