Verein der Freunde und Züchter des Pferdes Reiner Spanischer Rasse E.V. (VFZPRE) is The ANCCE PRE Studbook Collaborating Organization in Germany as of July 15, 2012
This month a collaboration agreement has been signed between VFZPRE and the PRE ANCCE Studbook, by which the German association would begin, as of July 15, 2012, to work directly to handle Studbook matters through its office in Korweiler, Germany. This agreement is an advantage for breeders in Germany as they will be able to work through their national association thus facilitating direct and fluid communications.
The agreement, signed in Sevilla by Sonja Thomas and Javier Conde as Presidents of their respective Associations, designates the German association as the collaborator for the only official register of PRE horses in the world and that is backed by Spain’s Ministry of Agriculture, Food and the Environment.
VFZPRE is the largest PRE organization in Germany. Moreover, this association has extensive experience in the promotion of the Purebred Spanish Horse.
Therefore, as of July 15, 2012, breeders in Germany must send their questions, requests for service (inscriptions, revisions, change of ownership, etc) and all PRE Studbook related issues to:
