Improvements in the PRE Stud Book web site.

Recently, a series of improvements have been introduced to the PRE Stud Book web site, both for the general public to consult horses, as well as for breeders in the Private Zone.

In the public zone, consult the latest about a given horse:

Upon visualizing the family trees for any given horse, you will find a rosette that may vary in color.  Each color has a meaning, as follows:

-          Red: Qualified Breeding Stock

-          Green: Young Recommended Breeding Stock

-          Blue: Improver Breeding Stock

-          Orange: Elite Breeding Stock

In the PDF version of the family tree (printable version or save it on your computer), we have added the following elements:

A QR Code has been included in the printout.  This code can be read by a number of devices, including smart phones (iPhone, Android, Blackberry…).  Upon reading the code with one of these devices (after installing the corresponding software, for example, NeoReader on iphones or barcode scanner on Android, among others), the web site will be shown directly, with all the information about a particular horse.

The pictures sent by an owner of a given horse through the private breeder zone can also be printed in the said pdf file.

In the upper left-hand section, just under the name of the horse, there is a colored label, depending on whether the horse is Basic Breeding Stock, Qualified Breeding Stock, Young Recommended Breeding Stock, Improver Breeding Stock or Elite Breeding Stock.

In the private zone, when consulting about a given horse, you can also see a series of new functions:

The possibility of introducing the REGA code (only for Spanish farms) or stud farm brand.

The option to change certain stud farm information (update e-mail address, phone number, address, etc.)

Redesign of the consult stud farm and horses screen, as well as the print option for a list of horses.

Verification of the request letter/s form

The possibility of issuing covering certificates for previous years, if and when the breeder has been the owner of that specific stallion.
